"FABULOUS!! FABULOUS!! FABULOUS !! What a wonderful home!! Spacious home and very comfortable furniture with plenty of seating. The kitchen had everything you could want and much more. The porch was a favorite of all with a roaring fire on chilly days. With two bedrooms and baths on the main floor and two of each downstairs there was plenty of room to spread out. Only one step to get in the house with a two car carport You will not be disappointed!!! We hope to return Easy access to owner. Everything about this place is wonderful!!"

"Excellent stay with our family. The listing with the photos and details was extremely accurate. The home was stunning and appointed with such history in it's furnishings.Space with multiple levels in the home were also excellent.Seating provided inside and out was wonderful.Heat was used and worked fine.Bathrooms were very clean and start up toiletries were as first class touch.Outside deck and firepit used extensively! Beautiful settings all over the property. We fishing both the stream and mirror lake with our family. The fire pit and plenty of seating was used every night, excellent maintained fire pit unit. Quick and easy drive to downtown Highlands and 2 close by hiking trails. "Fun retro lodge. Needs a few attention to details ie bathroom door doesn’t close, had trouble starting gas logs, but was fixed immediately. "

"Communication with host was perfect! I contacted Garrard the day of check in so see if we were able to check in a little earlier, and he responded quickly, allowing us early access ( we ended up checking in very close to original check in time, but appreciated the willingness). The property was beautiful and about 5 min from downtown and Old Edward Inn. The only little issues we had were figuring out the smart TVs WiFi situation and heat. We did not contact the host about it, but I’m sure it would’ve been a simple quick fix. Loved all the fern decor!"

"First Patty at check in was beyond sweet and she was so welcoming. Really wonderful employee. There were small things that were lacking like no hand soap and the shower gel was almost empty so really no soap to speak of. Also they have this cute card talking about making yourself an afternoon cup of trees but no tea. And then we returned around 8:45 and ran out to go to our car to grab surfing and left our key in the room. I called the emergency number passed at reception since no one was left at reception and the man that answered the phone literally answered it Hello. That’s it i thought i had the wrong number. Then i said i locked myself out of my room and he said well I'm an hour away so let me see if anyone at the restaurant can let you in and hung up on me. It was so odd. It left a bad taste in my mouth so even though I’m giving the place 4 stars and it does have a beautiful setting i will never stay there again"
