"As in previous reviews, no internet connection. Strangely able to get netflix on both bedroom tv’s but not on the main one. Lovely living space & bed very comfortable. Good location on site and all areas of park dog friendly. Would return. Could possibly get better quality frying pans. Both warped when using. "

"Nice place, right time of the year. Cabin and hot tub were excellent. The shared pool leaves a little to be desired for young kids. Especially those who may not be confident in the water. I would go back and stay in Lodge 15 Langsdale again. Short trips in the car gave great views of the area and loads to do. "

"Luke's Hoose felt really homely as soon as we opened the door. Great views from the elevated living room, looking over the town and hills beyond. So close to the main street so was easy to access all the shops, bars etc."

The “Welcome Pack” was a great and welcome surprise which is a definite plus compared to other rentals in this area. Master bedroom had a superb en suite plus a great view of Loughrigg Brow. "Our stay at Elton’s Escape was lovely. The caravan is nicely decorated with a cosy, welcoming vibe, and its location made it perfect for visiting Ambleside and Windermere. The living/dining area was fresh and welcoming, unlike many dog-friendly caravans which often carry an odour. Wi-Fi was excellent too. When we arrived, the caravan hadn’t yet been cleaned after the previous guests, but once we called the helpline, the on-call cleaning team responded promptly and resolved the issue. One thing...

Very comfortable for 2 adults, not sure how 4 adults would feel as it might be a bit on the small side, especially if you are tall people as the ceilings are low. Parking might be a bit tricky. There is space outside for one car, although the road is narrow at that point. There seems to be space on the next road along though, or as the owner suggests in the nearby pay carpark. Its handy to walk into Ambleside or down to the lake as...
