"Nice clean rooms . Perfect location for the town centre and castle venue . We went to a concert. Downside . No climate control rooms were hot so windows open .. traffic and public noise. Nice balconies. No actual hotel facilities as it is an annex of the George hotel across the street. "

Everything for an overnight stay, coffee on the terrace, good evening meal in the restaurant and a lovely pre-breakfast swim in quite a large swimming pool with sauna and jacuzzi available. "Great location for our East Anglia base. Service was excellent and the staff very helpful. We stayed in the new wing which is spotless albeit spartan. Would be nice to have a micro and fridge. I didn’t play golf but think the management could put some investment towards course improvements. Someone told me there’s a focus on wedding bookings. I would say that marketing as a golf resort would compliment the wedding business nicely. In order to do this you have to have a really nice course and avoid negative reviews for golf."
