"The best part of this resort is its staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. The location is perfect. It is so close to so many different things (right next to the Diamanté Eco Park). The scenery is breathtaking. I read some reviews prior to traveling and was a bit concerned about what we would find. The resort is a bit outdated. The rooms could definitely use a refresh. Any issues we had (mini fridge was not working, additional towels, etc) were taken care of...

"Great place to stay before or after air travel or whatever brings you to Liberia. Guanacaste can be very hot and traveling takes a lot out of you. It’s nice to stay somewhere so clean and comfortable and well air conditioned before continuing on for further travels. The hotel bar/restaurant is quite good. We ended up spending several hours there enjoying the food and drinks. "

"Nice hotel, they upgraded our family of 5 which was very nice! The pool was nice and large. There was happy hour onsite from 4-6:30pm which was nica and free breakfast. The beach was across a small street but easy to reach on foot. "

"Villa Sol is an older property located in a beautiful area Pros: amazing staff, really went the extra mile to make sure all of our needs were met. Shout out to Fernando and Rafael and Orian at the pool bar for keeping us hydrated and in good spirits. Food was good especially the bread oh my goodness. So good. Was also really cool to have the option of going to the beach and the shuttle was easy and readily available whenever needed! Cons: uncomfortable beds, only one dining option with limited...

"This was the perfect place for us to really enjoy the beach walking distance from our room. The staff was lovely, and the food at the restaurant was very very good. The sunset from the beach restaurant could not have been any better. The walk to the main avenue of tourist shops maybe takes 15-20 minutes, but walking along the beach makes it very pleasant. "

"The swimming pool is huge, can easily accommodate scores of people. Rooms basic, but entirely sufficient for overnight stay. If staying longer, one might like to have a small fridge in the room, especially as no lunch services in the facility. (The two of us had a portable cooler that proved sufficent for out purposes during our one-week stay). Breakfast, dinner entirely satisfactory, the latter served 7-8 PM only. -- Price-to-room ration favourable"
