"Amazing experience staying at the Champton, checked in early, staff were so friendly and welcoming. Room was perfect for my needs, services offered are 2nd to none. Roof top pool, sky bar, room service and gym/spa on premises. My 2night stay was over all too quickly, but i will be returning in 4 days for another 4 nights here."

"Absolutely amazing stay in La Nueva, really well places for walks to Old Quarter but for the service… wow, blown away. Super accommodating from start to finish, we are also celebrating my dad’s birthday which we didn’t tell the staff and they surprised my dad with a cake and greeting. Spa was exceptional and as the last thing. Our flight was at 7am in the morning and they organised transport and takeaway breakfast for us. What an amazing experience and can not recommend this place enough. When we come back best believe we’re coming back to La Nueva. Thank you!! "

"I stayed in this hotel with my family they gave us a total package including airport pick-up and drop-off, Ha Long Bay Cruise and city tour. Our experience was really pleasant. The hotel is located just a minute walk from Hoa Kiem Lake and city center. The room (two king size bed for family of four) may not be overly spacious but it was very stylish, clean and tidy. Breakfast is very tasty, I would recommend beef noodle, "Pho Bo". But the strongest point of this hotel is staff professionalism and friendliness. You can feel it from the personalized check-in. They call us by the name, and they (all of staff) are always informed of our requests regardless they are made previously or during the stay. They were always ready to assist us in finding restaurants (they choose very nice ones), city tours and extended use of a room for midnight departure. Overall, it is by far the finest hotel I experienced during my three-time travels to Hanoi."

"The service was exceptional, they were proactive in reaching out before we stayed there and allowed us to keep our bags there for a couple of days while we went trekking in Sa Pa. We returned to the hotel after our trek and they upgraded us to a super nice family room in the newly renovated wing. Overall very impressed by the great service."

"The staff truly made my stay enjoyable. I visited to celebrate a birthday, but the day came and went without any special acknowledgment from the hotel—no small gesture like a slice of cake or a card, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the overall experience was still worthy of four stars. A special mention to Trang in the F&B department, who was outstanding and made a real difference to my stay."

"If you want a luxurious place to stay in Hanoi, The Sofitel Metropole Hotel should be at the top of your list. Built in 1901, it retains echoes of the French colonial era. The service was excellent throughout; from the reception to the breakfast area, and our favourite, the pool bar! Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious, with a smart TV that allowed us to connect to various services such as Netflix and You Tube. One minor point to note for visitors from the UK - the power point accept UK plugs without an adaptor, which is very handy indeed! This was our second visit to Hanoi. We stayed here for 7 days this trip and we were very sad to leave! Thank you to the all the staff at the Metropole; thank you Hanoi and thank you Vietnam. We will definitely be returning."
