"It’s in a great part of the city, a bit quieter than the centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room size was much smaller than it appears on the photos. There’s little in bathroom amenities even though the bathroom was a good size. The shower door was very noisy and difficult to slide. There was no space to put the jug except on the floor. Just a couple of little changes would make it a much more pleasant stay. Also had trouble with the aircon. The hotel does have its charm. "

"Chose this hotel because it was in the quiet area of West Lake. The rooms are very nice - but the breakfast was poor in terms of both choice and quality. They paid little regard to customer service and even could not supply a street map!. It could be a fabulous hotel - the management needs a good 'shake up' and staff should be trained!!"

"The property was beyond our expectations. Staff went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable. Their restaurant was superb and the breakfast spread was top notch. Jimmi, the receptionist very efficiently organised transport to Sapa for us at the last minute...a big shout out for all the staff especially Jimmi and Alex. Would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anybody looking for a place in Hanoi Old Quarters. Great location...great food...great staff...great rooms...what more can one ask for!"
