"My family of 4 stayed in this lovely hotel twice, during our 16 days in VietNam. The staff, including the front desk Anna ,Angela and the doormen/ porters were extremely helpful. They gave us advice on where to eat, tours available, etc. Most helpful was allowing us to leave our luggage with them, when we took side trips to SaPa and Halong Bay. It relieved our anxiety, and everything was fine when we came back. Daily breakfast was very good, and rooms are spacious and clean. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel."

"I lived in Southern Vietnam for a year and frequently made trips up to Hanoi. I stayed at Royal palaceI every time. The staff makes you feel so welcome with smiles and friendly hellos. They are super nice and helpful. The hotel is located in the Old Quarter walking distance from most things. You can get a real feel for the city and the Old Quarter. This is a small hotel, and it isn't a 5 star hotel so don't expect it to be. But for the price, the service, the location, and everything else it is really unbeatable. Overall, Royal palace is a great stay don't miss the opportunity to meet the wonderful people who work there. "

" A beautiful hotel in the middle of the French quarter, easy walking distance to lake and cathedral. All the staff were so accommodating and also welcoming. Breakfast is not to be missed !! Seriously if you can’t find something to eat in the morning that’s on you. We would definitely stay again. "

"The staff in Solaria are a dream (especially Lily)! What a fantastic experience it was. No question or request was too little or too much for them and they gave us tips for our Ha Long Bay cruise. They helped organize our airport transfers; we had checked out a day before our cruise and they were happy to store our luggage while we were away (they even gave us some fruit and water for the journey to the marina). When we came back, we had a city tour and we were able to freshen up in their shower room and when I decided to get a facial, they honoured the guest spa discount event though we were technically no longer guests. Amazing! The bed was a little firm for our personal preference and they got a mattress topper for us. MIAs restaurant downstair was also fantastic! We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Hanoi - it's a small boutique hotel that packs a great punch and makes you feel like VIPs. This is hands down the top, most hospitable hotel we have ever had the pleasure to experience, and would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Hanoi. "
