The staff were very attentive and friendly, we really enjoyed our chat with the head chef (Ale) who we met outside the vegetable garden, great guy, passionate about the hotel, menu selection etc. Every meal was exceptional. "Place is clean, but needs serious updating. The website says your room has a view of the castle... it actually is a view of the parking lot. If the castle is meant for relaxation, why do delivery trucks wake you up at 6:30am? Who do they put guests right on top of each other when the place is nearly vacant? Why don't the toilet seats stay up because the handle is in the way? Why is the shower so small and with no shelf to hold soap or shampoo? And if this is a place of learning and...
