Very clean and large rooms. Nice simple breakfast brought to room! Nice staff and easy check in. Ceilings walls are thin so easy to hear rooms above.

La Boheme is a charming B&B in the heart of Lucca’s old city convenient to restaurants, shops, and sites. Our room was clean and quiet, despite being situated above an bustling narrow street. The host Chiara was friendly and helpful and gave us great dining and concert recommendations. We would definitely stay at her establishment upon returning to this delightful city.

This was a GREAT stay! Perfect location ... right in the Roman theater arena, yet our room was not on the inside of the walls, so it was nice and quiet at night. Accommodations were wonderful, clean and comfortable; location was perfect. We were at the arena, close to the Roman wall around the city, and very close and walkable to several food, shopping, and historical sights. Definitely recommend this location!

Lovely charming bed and breakfast just outside the walls of Lucca. Extremely kind staff. We were there in a heat wave and it was difficult to cool the room. Everything else was great.

A charming B&B settled outside of Lucca (~20 minutes), but with easy access to visiting many different areas. We rented a car from the airport (~1hr & 20mins) and I highly recommend it so you can move around with ease and visit different areas even go to the coast. The tolls are fantastic and fast. Great house for a quiet, relaxing stay, very clean, wonderful friendly staff. Beach is a short drive or a 15 min bicycle ride away. Very peaceful place with a mountain view. The Pietrasanta train station has a free parking, so you can park and take the train to Cinque Terre, La Spezia, or Pisa.

Great location, easy to find and very nice room. Also wonderful coffee, cappuccino etc machine and small kitchen to share. We were able to stay an extra day since we loved Lucca so much. Thank you Residenza Storico!

Excellent stay and quite spacious! Rita was an amazing host, and her breakfast was quite filling. I’ll be going back for a cooking class! This location is also very quiet and private, which I appreciated.

Good value & perfect location near the wall

The location is outstanding. East to get to everything. Luca is one of our favorite cities. This is our second stay at this lovely accommodation.

Clean and modern B&B 5 min by foot from the centre. Check in was efficient and breakfast adequate. The host Michele was friendly and provided helpful information. There's paid parking directly in front of the property or free parking some distance away. Would recommend, especially to those with a car!

The property is not a hotel, it's a B7B with no reception. This was a surprise to us and to another guests visiting. So clearer communication on this might be helpful. Luckily we were let in by another guest and that guest also called the owner who remotely guided us into our room. But if not for them, we would be royally stuck outside with two kids in toe. Proper check in communication beforehand would help if self checkin is expected. After that it was all smooth. The owner was very responsive...
