Hotel with a Concierge in Cumbria from AED 525

"Fab location in the heart of Bowness, close to the lake. It's a bit tired, but the staff are nice. The pool is lovely. Parking is a short walk away, about 300 yards. Nice, but in need of an update"

"I have visited over 170 countries. This castle is in my top two or three most wonderful places I have ever visited. The castle is amazing but the main reason i loved this place so much is because the staff were beyond perfect. They made our stay something I will never forget. The food and wine could not have been more amazing. The live piano played at dinner was priceless. I will fondly remember this place for the rest of my life."

"Amazing property to stay at, beautiful and magical."

"Excellent food and friendly staff"

"Lovely room number 21, have views of lake and fields. Breakfast was the best I've ever had EVER, excellent quality ingredients sourced locally, fantastic Main meal was good but we booked for 9pm,and was told to come down at 8:30 for canapés, was finally shown to table at 9:30 then had to order and wait till 10pm for first course finished our meal at 11:30pm. That was way too late for us. Suggest on arrival for canapés we should be shown the menu and order placed that way shown to our table...

"Gorgeous views and beautiful property"

"The room and cottage were great. Very peaceful location to stay and explore the nearby area, including Penrith"

"We stayed one night at the hotel The restaurant was very nice and we both enjoyed our meals there , both dinner and breakfast. the room we booked was a superior room, we were a little surprised to find 2 bunkers in the room (as well as the king bed) but it was quite spacious in the room so it was ok."
