"Impeccable service started us off. Room was fine size and unique. Easy walk to Kensington Gardens and train stops. Also close enough to walk to Harrods! Highly recommend this boutique hotel with impressive library-restaurant and pub. Thank you for a wonderful few days!"

"Staff, breakfast and room decor all great. Unfortunately we were placed in a basement room. It was explained to us that we had requested a quiet room with a particular bed size and that the only remaining room which met our criteria was in the basement. So if you don't like basement rooms, please be sure to clarify when reserving.Otherwise, our stay was good and the hotel is quiet. It is a lovely, historic property."

"Pleasant place to stay-ideally located for Royal Albert Hall. Opposite underground station and places to eat nearby. On very busy road so a room at the rear is essential for a quieter nights sleep. Bathroom very small but manageable. Great breakfast choice."
