"Overall, we had a great experience at Venus El Cid Resort & Spa! The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and there’s a lot to enjoy once you settle in. That said, our arrival wasn’t as welcoming as we expected. We arrived late, and unfortunately, there was no proper greeting or guidance when we got to the hotel. The staff member who handed us the keys did say “welcome,” but it didn’t feel like the warm, hospitable arrival you usually look forward to at a resort. Another thing to note is that the resort is quite large, which is great but it can also be confusing at first. Even with the map, it was a bit overwhelming and not very easy to follow. Thankfully, by around the fourth day, we finally got the hang of where everything was. Overall, still a very enjoyable stay, just a few areas that could improve the first impression and navigation experience.!"

" Cons: - by 7am the pool chairs were all reserved - Making a reservation for any restaurant using the app almost impossible - We bought the photo package and we were promise the photo book by 7:30am the next morning and we checked until 9am that we had to leave for the airport and the book never arrived. - Selling the diamond club meeting before check in not a good experience. Pros - Activities at night A++ - Coffee shop open 24/7 - Water parks and lazy river "
