"My parents, wife, and I just finished our first trip to Mexico and our first stay at a Majestic property. We will be back! Everything about the experience was top notch! From check in, to the restaurants, interactions with various staff, to our check out experience - it was all superb! A quick shout out to several of the staff who made our trip even more memorable. First up was our butler, Luis Alegria. My wife had read many reviews stating he was fantastic - and he lived up to them all! Great communication while maintaining your privacy while enjoying your vacation. Luis is a true gem! Several others also had a hand in making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. In no particular order, they are: Armando the Porter who saw us to our rooms and ensured we were settled before moving onto his next duties; Jesus Toledo (makes the best drinks at the Sports Bar); Eric “the red”, his compatriot (whose name I have sadly not been able to recall for this review - a shortcoming of mine, not a reflection on him), and “fake” Erick at the Seafood Restaurant made our evening there quite memorable; Jorge the poolside “drink guy” - always a smile on his face and cheer in his voice; Wilberth who did the Spanish lessons and gave a great short history on Mexico; and last, but not least, was Alejandro at the main lobby bar - a true wizard for mixing cocktails and sharing good stories. We all had a spectacular time. Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres is a beautiful resort with phenomenal staff!"

"The staff was amazing, the hotel and property were beautiful. My only complaint is that the food at the Japanese and French restaurants overpromised and under delivered. I had the lobster tail and it was to be served with lemon foam but there was no foam and it ended up being very dry and needing something. We went to the Japanese restaurant for a 9:00 seating and had no choice as to what we ate. What we were given left a lot to be desired. "

"This was the most relaxing vacation me and my partner have been on. The property is beautiful and is well maintained. The rooms are VERY spacious and staff were amazing and extremely helpful. We booked this trip as a couples retreat and there were enough amenities/classes that makes this trip ideal for an intimate couples getaway. The taco truck and Beachside/ pool service was the highlight of our trip 10000/10 and the room service feature was so useful and the food was great but where I found the food was lacking was in when it came to the evening (dinner time) there’s only 3 restaurants all have different themes. We went to the steakhouse for our first night and the food was very bland, presentation was a 10/10 which makes you intrigued on what to expect when tasting the food. My partner ordered a steak and legit was no flavor and lowkey came cold…. I ordered some type of burrito and it was filled with little protein and a lot of cheese and beans. The French cuisine was the worst out of 3 from starters to dessert it was terrible. Italian is spot was decent but pretty basic…in all the inconsistencies with the food and drinks (go ahead and buy a bottle if you actually want to feel something) we expected the bar to have decent liquor since all were name brand and pretty decent in the states but we did a test with their don and ours and it tasted nothing like our don. The cafe 10/10. Overall 8/10"

"We had a great experience on our girl's trip. The check in & check out service was quick and easy. The room was clean. We loved that we could request more waters, beers, towels, whatever we needed in our room from the app. The service at the bars was great. Friendly staff. We only had a few days here, so we didn't do any excursions or leave the resort. Everything we needed for a few days was there. We just bounced from the pool to the beach every day and the water slides were fun. We traveled without our kids, so we liked that most of the time we weren't around any. One of the pools was more family oriented and the other was the adults drinking. Restaurants & buffets were good. The only slip up was one of the service restaurants took FOREVER one of the nights we had dinner. (they said they were understaffed that night) We were seated at the table probably 2.5 hours and many people kept leaving because the wait to get food, drinks, & service was very long. "

"I came here as a solo female traveler , 27 years old. I had the ABSOLUTE best time, I was so nervous at first but I seriously have depression from leaving. It felt like home in the best way, I was catered to, everyone was simply amazing. I spent every single day at the beach and pool. The food was AMAZING and I’m a picky girl! My top 3 were the Italian, steakhouse and Mexican. My room was cleaned for me every day , as I asked for it to be. Nothing of mine was touched. It was well worth the money."

"Breakfest was fresh and good. trustworthy day care only used it once for few hours went well. resort staff were great and helpful. Dana and David were awesome. Resort property could use a little love"

"Amenities The amenities were fantastic, good food and great liquor selection. The wine selection leaves a lot to be desired. High cost liquors like johnny walker and patron are included but bottled of wine that cost $9 in the states are considered premium. Butlers For butlers we had Sergio and Ana. The butlers were amazing with facilitating dinner bookings, and amending dinner booking requests and were very attentive overall. General Staff We had several instances where the room was not restocked based off of requests or restocked with water at all. This was remedied quickly with the butler service however having to use the butler service so often for these kinds of things made it feel like a necessity to have a butler rather than a luxury and made it feel less like a vip access resort. Even though the butlers were able to get the items remedied it often took hotel staff a long time to complete the task compared to when we reached out to our butler. Cleanliness We did notice after a few days of staying there that we had something black dotting our shower. We originally thought this was just part of the porous shower stone however we later realized that it was able to be scratched off and might of actually been mold. I am sure this is a constant problem with the constant moisture and humidity however a thorough room cleaning and shower cleaning with bleach would most likely resolve this in between guests.
