"The location is great. There are restaurants within walking distance or a short Uber ride. This was my second time staying at this property. The staff were awesome! They accommodated all of my requests. Check in and check out was smooth. I recommend upgrading the package to premium so you’re able to get premium alcohol. There’s also access to additional bars with the premium package. We were there celebrating my partners birthday. Upon arrival banner was placed on the door as well as a birthday treat in the room. The Conceirge was very attentive and anticipated our needs. Be sure to tip while three, the staff definitely deserve it. We reserved a cabana which was suggested by the Conceirge and were glad we did. The free lounge chairs were completely full at 9 am. Get to the Market Place cafe early if you want to eat breakfast there. We walked down around 10 and there was a long wait. The property is still gorgeous but could use some TLC in some areas, but nothing too drastic. I will definitely stay there again. This is a more relaxing resort so you won’t get urban music or the top 40s if that’s what you’re looking for. There was no turn up."

"Yo fui el 2025 y volví a ir en el 2026. Bueno la verdad que para ir día entre semana no se lo aconsejo a nadie los show que hacen en la piscina el DJ que había todos los días ya eso no existe. No hay actividades en la noche y a partir de las 10 P.M. hay que dormir porque no hay ninguna barra abierta un hotel que sólo es para adulto, la verdad que una decepción terribles. Jamás en mi vida vuelvo a regresar ahí. Eso ha decaído muchísimo. Dicen ellos que fue que cambió de dueño pero cambió Para. Peor terrible terrible malo malo en el buffet no había carne. Todo era pollo en la noche no abre el buffet es sólo dos restaurantes para que decirle terriblemente es un caos. Eso no vuelvo a regresar más si quieren pasarlo mal quedense aquí"

"Hotel run down, food was bad, drinks worse. We ate at the Italian restaurant everyday because it was the only restaurant edible. Too many kids, I’ve been to Cancun over 10x n this was the worst experience so far. Actually I’ve never had a poor experience until now. My husband and I felt catfished were all the amazing reviews. Obviously the reviews were “paid for and or staff”. Do yourself a happy favor and stay at the RUI, it’s 100x better and cheaper. I still haven’t figured that one out."

"Highly Recommended! Just returned from an amazing stay at **Hotel Riu Palace Kukulcan** in Cancun and I can’t say enough good things! The resort is stunning — beautiful oceanfront location with powdery white sand and turquoise water right at your doorstep. The rooms are modern, spacious, and very clean, with fantastic views of the Caribbean Sea. The all-inclusive food was excellent (especially the seafood and the Japanese restaurant), and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. We loved the multiple pools, the evening entertainment, and how well-maintained everything was. Perfect for couples or families looking for a relaxing, luxurious beach vacation. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️"

"Room was dated but clean. I did not have hot water in the shower. Housekeeping did a wonderful job. Food was just average. Too many young, rude 20 to 30 yr old Americans. I was uncomfortable with the atmosphere that they created. The Canadian younger crowd was more pleasant and polite. I probably will not return to this resort because of the undressed, pot smoking, rude, loud Americans. I am American myself and I was embarrassed for them. David at the inside bar was fabulous in the evening! I went down every night to have a cocktail before dinner. It was easy to get into all the restaurants! The buffet was very good and I enjoyed my meals there. Also the younger people need to understand that if they get food service they should tip!!!"
