"For the price, Colorbox is a good option to stay close to Tulum (the hotel is located15 km north of the city), the Maya ruins of Coba, and various beaches. It's clean and no frills (no closet or dresser, or even a single hook). You get a clean and comfortable bed and a good shower with hot water. While close to the highway (and you hear it), the property itself is quiet and appeared safe. Note that there are no lock boxes in the rooms and we opted to have valuables with us at all times.
