"We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was very clean and comfortable. A few issues to identify- it was confusing to find out where to check in as this was a separate entity from Grand Bahia Principe. Some of the security guards didn’t know where to send us. One other issue was the little plunge pool was very cold and wasn’t really usable. Some great things to mention- couch and kitchen were a great place to relax. "The service was amazing. The entire staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The room was beautiful. The jacuzzi in our room was perfect for relaxing before bed. The pools were incredible. I highly recommend renting a Bali bed on the beach, it was extremely relaxing and worth the additional cost. The spa was absolutely gorgeous and offered a unique experience. We loved our 85 min messages. We were so relaxed, my husband and I both feel asleep. I chose Secrets Akumal after researching various resorts and reviews. It was everything I was hoping for and more. If you’re looking for a relaxing and luxurious resort with a low key vibe, I highly recommend Secrets Akumal! You will not be disappointed!"
