"The Grand Sirenis Rivera Maya is a wonderful resort. There are three huge pools which are all different and all fun. Excellent food at both of the buffets and at the themed restaurants that we tried, which included the Mexican, Asian, and Mediterranean restaurants. "I like having an ocean view, being to have a private beach and walkable to town. The only negative is a staff whose name is Amparo was very rude and ignored us. She even looked at us and started talking to another staff person. She wouldn't take our order in the snack bar and if she did, she never gave it to us. I had to ask another staff for our order, and he got it, and it was cold. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who got the cold shoulder from her. The fact is we didn't even do anything to her...
"Wonderful resort with great staff and not overcrowded. The morning Buffett is delicious with varied choices of Mexican and American foods, if not so adventurous.
The staff is friendly and have that warm welcoming Mexican ‘bienvenido a nuestra casa’ attitude.
The beach is quiet and very private. The Conrad has great beautifully landscaped walking paths. If you’re lucky you might see the local wildlife.
