Excellence Riviera Cancun - Adults Only All Inclusive

"We just returned from vacation at Excellence Riviera Cancun! It was an incredible trip enjoyed by my husband and myself! The food was amazing, the property was extremely clean and the service is over the top at the pools, the restaurants and by housekeeping! They go above and beyond, were so nice and work very hard! Landy took exceptional care of us at the pool anytime we needed drinks or wanted to order food poolside. Erica did a wonderful job as well bringing us drinks when we were enjoying the nightly shows in the theatre and Prelude Plaza. I’ve been to many all inclusive resorts and this one was top tier! We used Seasons for our airport transfers and they were reasonable and the vehicles were new and exceptionally clean as well. It is a very relaxing and worry free vacation. Do not hesitate booking, it is fabulous. We will definitely be back!"

"Like all the food options from Mexican to Indian, Italian, etc. Our favorite was the Hunter Stakehouse. Great staff always willing to assist, property look clean, except for some spot but with the size of the resort and the amount of people that is expected. Pools are nice if you want to relax or participate in the activities. Only negative (for us) the whole resort shut down at 1 am. My recommendation is to keep the sport bar open 24 hours with some quick grap and go food, like hot dogs, nachos and some cold sandwiches, also keep that bar open. In any case you can get room service 24 hours but is super slow"

"J’ai aimé la propreté des lieux, le fait que la chambre était confortable, la gentillesse du personnel de service et leur disponibilité ainsi que la nourriture Ce que j’ai moins aimé c’est l’impossibilité d’accéder à la plage de l’hôtel en cette saison à cause des algues marines ainsi que le coût élevé des activités extérieures pour les familles"

"Great hotel and staff. Food was generally good at the hotel restaurants but the buffet in the evening was a major let down. Due to the hot weather the beach was full of seaweed and that caused an unpleasant smell. I had 3 rooms booked and all had inconsistent amenities provided where one came with dressing robes the others didn’t; one didn’t have a properly functioning fridge; one didn’t have complementary creams. The housekeeping was very inconsistent - they would come to clean some days and not others and at differing times each day starting at 9am up to 8pm in some cases. My son celebrated his 8th birthday and we hired the vip area which was good. Stores on site are extremely overpriced. Use uber to get to local shops for anything you need. Overall we had a pleasant stay but perhaps would consider a different hotel next time."

"It started out rocky with some little rudeness of front desk staff member, where she checked in our other 3 rooms and told us that she can’t check us in because it’s not check in time yet (30 min early) then no one told us what to do till check in time and expect us to just stand there in the lobby while being confused, and another situation where a family member fell. But the general manager was so nice and explained everything and the rest of the stay was wonderful"
