Amazing property! We only went for one night, and we plan on going back for 3-4 nights next year. The location is a little out of the main part of town but easily walked. We had a car. The beach goes on forever and is right across the street. The room was gorgeous. The water was hot, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast delivered was an extra perk. We will be back!

Beautiful property. The Belmond Maroma is a small hotel set in a lush tropical garden along the beach. The common areas are gorgeous and the rooms are private and quiet. There are several serene pools and great seating & umbrellas on the beach. The staff are wonderful - friendly and helpful. The breakfast is divine and dinners excellent. The only downside is the seaweed on the beach which is an issue all along the Yucatan coast. The hotel rakes the beach clean each morning.

We just returned from a week at Jashita and couldn't recommend the hotel more. It's truly a special place perched at the end of Solomon Bay, just a short jaunt away from the great restaurants, hotels, and nightlife of the Tulum puebla and beach. My boyfriend and I could not recommend this resort enough. We were greeted by Christian at the door with a glass of champagne and cool towel. The workers were excellent!! The food was excellent. The views were phenomenal. The Guanas are very friendly. Outside of the seaweed smell and pretty much no beach due to the seaweed, we had a great stay.

Mezzanine is a beautiful property right on the water with an excellent Thai restaurant. The staff are great and very kind and helpful. The only complaints are that it's somewhat far from everything and you need to take a taxi to everything which is 10$ each way, or else get a bike but generally everything is about 3 miles plus away. The beach would be beautiful if the seaweed bloom wasn't so bad. The nets are doing little to keep the seaweed out, unfortunately. It's not really nice to swim in...

We were looking for a small non-resort hotel on the beach where we could relax peacefully, and Petit Lafitte is exactly that. As soon as we arrived at Lafitte we were welcomed home by the desk staff and concierge. Its as pretty as it looks! We enjoyed our family vacation with older boys- ages 12 & 16. The staff is so helpful- Roger, Carlos, and Chris went out of their way to help book excursions or help with any need we had. Book a room with a view! We had a great stay, the staff, the room, the location everything was just what we expected or better. I stayed with my wife for a weekend and will go again anytime. The location is great, walking distance to the town, restaurants and the beach is amazing. The tour to swim with the shark-wale, amazing “a must go if, in season”

We stayed for 6 wonderful nights in a 2BR penthouse. Staff were wonderful, A/C and WiFi worked great. The kitchen had just about everything you could need. Bedrooms were very comfortable and bathrooms very nice. The public spaces were always well maintained. We loved all of the furnished outdoor spaces, 2 on the main level and the amazing rooftop patio with a hot tub, BBQ, palapa and ocean views! Hotel La Semilla is a 9-room hotel in a perfectly non-touristy section of Playa Del Carmen. You can easily walk to the main tourist drag, but you could also spend a week not even knowing it was there. We stayed in a beautiful ocean-front bungalow that had a private rooftop hot tub and hammock. Perfect location to enjoy Tulum's beautiful beaches. The hotel is also directly across the street from Parole, a gorgeous Italian restaurant with excellent cocktails and food. Definitely recommend if you're there. Special thanks to Antonio who checked us in and also leads the salsa classes in the afternoon. Very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

From the outside doesn't look like much but once inside its beautiful with a koi pond and pool that runs in the center of the hotel complex. The rooms are really nice with a full kitchen. And it came with a personal jacuzzi outside by the front entrance and steps away from the main pool. Bad part is they close main door after 10pm and have to go thru front desk office.

We spent our honeymoon in one of the larger beach front rooms 13 years ago (when the hotel was part of the Blue Parrot) and have been going back ever since. There was previously a noise problem with the nearby bars, but we didn't hear a peep out of them the entire trip this time. Best hotel in Holbox in my opinion. Astonishing views, great beach club and friendly service. Included continental breakfast was way better than expected. Taxis in the island are a bit difficult to find (golf carts) but once you are in the hotel they can get one for you in minutes. We are definitely going back when we can.

Very nice and always someone there to help if needed. Second time staying here and we love it!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The ecological feel of the grounds is refreshing compared to the typical resort feel of many establishments in Riviera Maya. The food was excellent. And the staff kind and helpful. I had read reviews that said they hounded you for tips. We did not experience this at all during our stay. We would definitely go back again!
