"This was a very large property, we stayed in the Expedia building which was almost 1/2 mile from the lobby and 1.22 miles round trip from our room to the beach restaurant. Getting in a lot of walking was nice, but hot. Lots of animals on the property, agouti, coati, deer and monkeys, pretty neat having them onsite. "Property was beautiful but could use updating. Staff was excellent. Rooms were small and we didn't like not having a separate bathroom from the rest of the room. We informed them that we would be there for our honeymoon when we booked months in advance and were not offered an upgrade. Instead we were given cheap champagne & a couple chocolates on the 2nd day after complaining at the front desk."
