"The staff at Grand Hotel du Lac is wonderful, Extremely helpful and caring. Truly a cut above many of the other hotel I have stayed in. And beyond the high standard of other luxury Vietnamese hotels. The staff at breakfast, the restaurant, and the rooftop bar were going beyond anything to make my stay comfortable. The front desk and support staff were continuously inquisitive whether there was something they could help me with. I will most certainly be back."

"A wonderful hotel in an excellent location. Staff were polite and attentive, and eager to help with any query. Rooftop pool and bar has great views over the lake, perfect to come back to after the hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast was also very good with western and Vietnamese options available. The hotel arranged a transfer from the airport for USD 30, well worth the money for the absence of stress alone!"

"I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Peridot. All the front desk personnel were fantastic. Sam especially caught my attention with how much she ensured I got everything I needed from trip bookings to city experiences. Check-ins to make sure I got everything I needed. Or Rosie packing me snacks and making me coffee to take with me during my checkout. Breakfast was fantastic and it’s easy to see why this place is rated 10/10. Bedroom was neat and cozy and tidied promptly. I honestly think this may be the best hotel in Hanoi. Lest I forget, the spa was great. Everyone I encountered treated me like they owned the hotel and wanted to give the best experience. I would love to visit and stay here again."

"The room is very spacious and clean. There was also a fruit platter waiting. Breakfast was decent with lots of food choices. All the staff were friendly and nice. Wish we stayed more than one night here!"

"Staff are brilliant. I was there for 2 weeks and they made me feel very welcome and they always asked how my day was etc. the hotel is right in the old quarter and was a perfect base. The breakfast is in a sister hotel only 2 minutes walk away at my pace . I didn't really eat there much. But it was basic but ok . The room is cleaned every day. 2 bottles of water in the fridge every time. I was happy here."
