The morning yoga practice was absolutely beautiful. The teacher was not just guiding poses — she was guiding presence. Her energy was calm, grounded, and deeply attentive. She created a space that felt safe, supportive, and transformative. It wasn’t about performance. It was about connection — breath, body, awareness. Every movement felt purposeful and aligned with the surrounding nature. The sound healing ceremony was so powerful that we attended it twice. The experience was immersive and profound. The vibrations felt like they were moving through every layer — calming the mind while awakening something deeper. Time seemed to dissolve. It was both grounding and expansive at the same time. The cacao ceremony was heart-opening and intimate — gentle yet meaningful. And the temazcal was intense in the best way — cleansing, releasing, almost like a rebirth experience. This place offers more than relaxation. It offers depth, healing, and true reconnection — with yourself, with nature, and with the person you’re sharing it with. "Our stay at Casa Malca was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for, and that feeling stayed with us throughout our entire stay. The property itself is truly unique — a perfect mix of art, design, and nature. It has a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to disconnect and simply enjoy the surroundings. Every corner of the resort feels thoughtfully curated, yet warm and inviting at the same time. Our room was huge, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The beds were especially cozy, making it easy to unwind and get a great night’s sleep after long days by the sea. The staff was exceptional — genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help. From the front desk team to the restaurant staff and the people working on the beach, everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. The beach was beautiful, with soft sand and stunning views. Even though there were waves during our stay, it only added to the charm and natural beauty of the setting. Overall, Casa Malca is a special place that offers a perfect combination of comfort, tranquility, and character. We left with amazing memories and would absolutely love to return."

"Our room was incredibly clean - Grismerelda was fantastic at making our space spotless and also greeted us every morning with a basket with a hot thermos of coffee and every afternoon with a spotless room. She has a great sense of humor as well! The staff was amazing - Julio and Jorge were generous and attentive. We have small children who did not travel with us this trip, so I would say that if you are traveling with children, this is not the hotel for you - there is a pool but it is on the rooftop after lots of stairs and was cold (in February- so understandable) and we saw no families with children when we stayed. However, for an adult getaway, it was wonderful. "

"Everything was perfect. I have literally no complaints. I would stay here again. Perfect location, amazing food, clean rooms, the attention to detail is incredible. Spa services were awesome, yoga was great, cenote is beautiful. Was sad to leave. "

"I want to start by saying that the space is divine and serene. The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms are exactly as they appear online. The cute little kitties were an added bonus! Overall, we enjoyed the vibes and the space, great for photos and relaxing. The food at the restaurant was exceptional, and we especially loved the desserts. There were taxis waiting right out front, which was convenient- expensive but convenient. (if you are looking to use InDrive, they will not want to pick you up from this location) With that being said, I did have expectations that were not met with this being a Michelin key winner. The pool in the rooms is really more for the vibe, its freezing and had a strange film on the surface. I wanted to get in so bad, and I did, once. But only to say I had. There was nothing really included besides morning weekday activities like yoga/Pilates, which was disappointing for the price. There didn't seem to be enough staff to keep up with cleaning the pool, so there was a lot of foliage floating about. The hot tub, which is where we made tons of friends and spent a better deal of time while at the hotel, was maybe 5 degrees warmer than the pool. Lastly, the showers did get really hot, but ran out of warm water quickly- enough time to wash and rinse, but nothing extra. I think I expected more bang for my buck and a little bit of a different experience. At the end of the day, we had THE BEST honeymoon and enjoyed our stay at Hotel Milam. "
