We have been coming to the Maya Hotel and Bistro for several years. It gets even better with time. The Lees are excellent in maintaining their standards of service and training staff. They improve their facilities and it is a truly welcoming place. Like a home you know you can always go to for the comfort and care. And the food....second to none! A most creative menu, infusing classic cuisines with just the perfect Caribbean/Belizean flavor. We will always return!!

They exceeded my expectations, the hotel itself is beautiful and it makes you feel super relaxed. The staff is super kind, the room was big and nicely decorated. I got a massage in my room with Lulú and it was amazing.

The resort was not small by any means, but felt intimate. The staff made you feel special, they took the time to remember your preferences and your name. The resort is very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again

Very lovely modern hotel with great beds and a fun roof top pool. Highly recommend.

Stayed here on honeymoon. Rented a car and explored the Yucatan using the Hacienda as a base. Wonderful property, the casitas maya are excellent, and the food at the restaurant (especially breakfast) is the best of what the region has to offer. The staff are discrete, almost entirely out of site but quickly in the room to clean up once you leave for dinner, etc. Great place.

During our trip to Guatemala in August 2026, we stayed at Hotel Tikal Futura to celebrate my brother’s birthday. It was an unforgettable experience! Everything about the property was wonderful. The staff, leadership, and employees COULD NOT have been nicer and more helpful. Food was the best I've had at an all-inclusive. The only thing about it that wasn't perfect was the bar drinks - the mixes tasted cheap and the drinks were not strong. That being said, the service MORE than made up for a very minor issue. If the drinks matched the rest - this place would be HEAVEN!

From the first interaction with Steven in reception (complimentary glass of wine upon arrival), to their willingness to help. I had a race and was not able to take advantage of their buffet breakfast, however the kitchen was kind enough to prepare me a plate of food that was amazing upon my return back to the hotel. Centrally located. Access to many restaurants, Church and even a green area to jog (if early in the morning). Rooms are upkept with modern amenities. Great for a short stay for either business or pleasure. Great comfortable bed. Except for the hot water, in the shower that failed the first day, I cannot find any flaws to this hotel. BTW, the water was back that evening... dont know why, so I did not complain to management. Would definetely use again in another trip.

As a mom traveling alone with my two young adult daughters, this place was a safe, comfortable and conveniently located to explore around the Zocalo area. The hotel personnel was super welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself was modern and the room was very clean. Soft beds, pillows and down white comforters. Had an excellent experience at Bellafer. When we arrived we were greeted by Mitzi. She was very nice and helpful the whole time we were there, she definitely made us feel at home. The whole staff was super friendly. The resort is beautiful and super relaxing. Rooms are very nice, spacious, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. They have a nice restaurant and bar. We did not try the food but the mixed drinks were excellent. Definitely looking forward to visiting again.

The hotel located in a perfect spot - close to the beach, malecon, many restaurants. Easy to get here from the airport by the local bus. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast - it was cooked for me from scratch every morning, when many other hotels give just a bag of cold breakfast items. Hacienda Santa Rosa will forever live in my memory as one of the most magical places I've stayed. Despite being managed by a hotel chain, it hasn't lost its patina and authenticity.
