We had the suite with a pool on the rooftop and it was worth it. Property was quiet and we only saw 2-3 other guests during our 4 night stay which is what we were looking for. Peaceful place."

They were so kind, accommodating and thoughtful. Tulum is a unique destination, with different "zones," each with their own vibe. Casa Altamar is north of the town center and "party" beach area. That means you get a quiet and secluded beach (huge plus!) It is a 15min drive to town if you want to explore...

"There was one time the world cafe took a long time to seat me, when the restaurant wasn’t full and I didn’t have much time. That was my only complaint thus far, other than that, maybe more cabs should be available to get from the beach to the gym."
